Privacy & Your Information
Your memories matter, and so does your privacy. When you work with AP Photo Solutions, we may collect basic information such as your name, email, phone number, and details about your photo projects. This is used only to provide services, communicate with you, and deliver your finished work.
We don’t sell or share your information with third parties. The only time your materials may leave our hands is if you choose a vetted partner service (for example, digitization through FOREVER or another trusted vendor). In those cases, we work only with providers who share our same standard of privacy and confidentiality.
Any originals you send are handled with care and returned to you as agreed. If shipping is involved, we’ll always use trackable methods.
Data Security
Your photos, videos, and personal data are treated with the same level of care we’d want for our own families. We use secure systems and vetted vendors, and we never outsource projects overseas. That said, no digital system can guarantee 100% security. By using our services, you understand that while we take every precaution, there’s always some risk in storing or sharing files online.
Using Our Services
AP Photo Solutions provides photo organizing, digitizing, restoration, consulting, and related services. When you share materials with us, you’re confirming that you have the rights or permission to do so. We won’t be responsible for any copyright disputes if materials are provided without proper permissions.
Our consultations and recommendations are based on best practices, but final decisions and backup strategies are up to you. We can guide, but we can’t guarantee outcomes if instructions aren’t followed.
Payment, Shipping & Travel
Services are billed as agreed before starting a project. This may be on an hourly basis, by package, or per-item pricing (for scanning or media transfer). Payments are non-refundable once work has begun, since time and resources are dedicated to your project.
If materials need to be shipped, clients are responsible for shipping costs to and from AP Photo Solutions. We recommend always using trackable shipping methods. For certain services, we may also use vetted vendors such as FOREVER, which includes 3-way shipping with their digitization boxes (box to you, box back to them, and your originals returned). Other vendors may follow similar practices.
For clients requesting in-home sessions or hand-delivery, travel fees may apply. Travel within roughly 50 miles of Las Vegas is included; beyond that, a mileage or industry-standard fee may be added.
If a project needs to be adjusted, we’ll do our best to find a fair solution.
Liability
We take every care with your original materials. In the rare event of damage or loss, liability is limited to the cost of services provided, not the replacement value of irreplaceable items. For this reason, we strongly recommend creating backups and duplicates whenever possible.
Updates to This Policy
From time to time, we may update these terms or our privacy practices. When that happens, we’ll revise the “last updated ” date at the top of this page.
